This is a Rudraksha seed prayer mala from Nepal. The mala contains 108 Rudraksha beads with turquoise spacers.
Rudraksha is a seed from a tree that grows mainly in Nepal and India in the Himalayan mountains. Rudrakshya also means Rudra's (SHIVA's) tears.
It is believed that by wearing a Rudrakshya one has the protection of Lord Shiva. The mala can be used to perform japa as there are 108 beads. You can also wear it as a tassel necklace or wrap it around your wrist 3-4 times to make it a wrist mala.
