Kar-Sur Zhingkham Khunchab is prepared according to the formulation prescribed in the sacred Buddhist tantric text of Longchen Nyingthik, and it contains the finest of all types of fruits, grains, and rich Nge Nga (five precious gems). It is an ancient Buddhist tradition to offer Kar-Sur to please the Buddhas.
Bodhisattvas collect one's merit, and most importantly, it is also considered a great act of generosity (Jimpa or Giving-Dana among the six paramitas) to alleviate the hunger of all the spirits that wander around us and, at the same time, help protect your family and neighbors from suffering or evil.
