The seven-chakra prayer flags represent the seven chakras—the primary centers of spiritual energy that transmit circles of balance and vitality throughout the human body and soul.

1. First chakra: Muladhara means "root"; this root chakra is located just below the tailbone.
2. Second chakra: Swadhisthana means "sweetness" and is located at the level of the sacrum; it is therefore also known as the sacral chakra.
3. Third chakra: Manipura means "brilliant jewel" or "filled with gems" and is located at the level of the navel.
4. Fourth chakra: Anahata means "unhurt" or "unscathed" and is located at the level of the heart.
5. Fifth chakra: Vishuddha (also known as Vishuddhi) is located at the level of the throat.
6. Sixth chakra: Ajna is located on the forehead and is also known as the third-eye chakra.
7. Seventh chakra: Sahasrara is located above the head.
